Loren Thompson Stanton

Loren Thompson Stanton was from Cobleskill, New York. On August 13, 1862, he enlisted in Company D, 134th Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry. On July 1, 1863, he, along with 100 other members of his regiment, was captured at the Battle of Gettysburg. He was discharged on June 2, 1865 at Albany, New York. He is buried in Breakabean Cemetery in Breakabean, New York.
