James M. Bowser James M. Bowser was born March 8, 1844. He served in Civil War with Co D, 164th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. On September 27, 1866 he married Calista Melinda Swander, a sister of Dewalt Swander. He died at age 64 years 6 mos 8 days at Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio. Information and photograph provided by J.
