National Encampment Tour

The Department of Kentucky invites members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Allied Orders to indulge themselves on a TOUR in the Lexington area exploring the history and culture of Lexington, KY.

Our tour Consists of a Distillery & Brewery Tours, followed by a trip to Camp Nelson. Named for Union General "Bull" Nelson, Camp Nelson was a fortified Depot which evolved into a training center for United States Colored Troops.

Your tour will start at the Town Branch Distillery and Alltech Brewing Company. It will then proceed to Camp Nelson.

The tour runs $50/person and lunch will be available at the Distillery for ($9-13).

Only 55 seats available, so Reserve Early.

There is an available tasting at the Distillery for those 21 and over. A gift shop is available at the Distillery.
