Nelson J. Dunlap

Nelson J. Dunlap was born May 30, 1843. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Hastings, Mississippi Squadron from 1863 to 1865. He died December 9, 1942. He was the last Union Civil War Veteran from Ross County Ohio. He was buried at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Cemetery in Green Township, Ross County, Ohio.
