Stephen H. Kettle served in the 2nd Rhode Island Infantry as a Private, September 1864 - July 1865. The photograph was in a Flag Day Booklet, set up by the Rhode Island GAR. At the time of the photograph, he was Senior Vice Commander of McGregor GAR Post #14. Photograph is from Stephen H. Kettle's great great grandson, Leo Kennedy.
