Francis Aaron Bailey

Francis Aaron Bailey was the son of Aaron and Maria Hubbard Bailey. He was born in Illinois but was a resident of Green Lake (Green Lake County), Wisconsin when he enlisted and was mustered into Company E, 40th Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry as a Private on May 13, 1864. He died of typhoid fever at the Overton Hospital, Memphis Tennessee on August 8, 1864. Photograph and information submitted by Francis Aaron Bailey's Great Grandniece, Sandra Boudrou.
