Charles Tyler Thompson

Charles Tyler Thompson was born in 1841. He enlisted in Company B, Berdan’s First U. S. Sharpshooters on August 24, 1842. He was wounded at the Battle of Chancellorsville. He returned to his regiment and was promoted to Corporal in 1864. He ended the war in Company H of the 12th New York. He died in 1922.
