There were 17 motions presented and processed using the Electronic Boardroom since the 2009 National Encampment. These motions, with the resulting action, are summarized below:

• 03 September 2009 - Motion by Council Member Bob Petrovic, second by Council Member Perley Mellor, to allow the National Quartermaster to purchase a digitized version of the SUVCW badge to be used on flags and other items supplied by the National Quartermaster. Motion passed

• 13 September 2009 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by Council Member Perley Mellor, to contract with Terry Good to perform the accounting services needed at the rate of $23.00 per hour. Motion passed

• 18 September 2009 - Motion by PCinC Dave Medert, second by Council Member Bob Petrovic, to set up an account to be held and managed by the National Treasurer for donations towards the establishment of the Canadian Union Veterans Recognition Monument. Motion passed.

• 02 October 2009 - Motion by PCinC Dave Medert, second by National Treasurer Richard Orr, to present the Meritorious Service Award with Gold Star to Gary Naugle of Nash-Hodges Camp #43, Department of Michigan, for his efforts in organizing the Memorial Day parade for the city of Tecumseh, MI. Motion passed.

• 07 October 2009 - National Secretary Don Palmer distributed both pre- and post-Encampment Council of Administration meeting minutes for review. Motion by Council Member Perley Mellor, second by Council Member Ken Freshley, to approve both pre- and post-Encampment Council of Administration meeting minutes as presented. Motion passed.

• 19 October 2009 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by Council Member Tad Campbell, to spend up to $600 from the Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief Fund for the purchase of dies and pins for presentation to Memorial University graduates. Motion passed.

• 10 January 2010 - National Secretary Don Palmer distributed the November Council of Administration meeting minutes for review. Motion by Council Member Ken Freshley, second by Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief Brad Schall, to approve the November Council of Administration meeting minutes as presented. Motion passed.

• 15 January 2010 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by Council Member Tad Campbell, to expend sufficient funds from the General Fund Reserve to secure 5 PCinC jewels, to be: (1) recorded as a pre-payment on the books with one badge being distributed each of the next 5 National Encampments; (2) held by the National Quartermaster; and (3) engraved when presented. Motion passed.

• 27 January 2010 - Motion by Council Member Ken Freshley, second by Council Member Tad Campbell, to allow Indian Nations Camp #3, Department of Oklahoma, to delay their Camp officer installation until their February meeting. Motion passed.

• 13 February 2010 - Motion by Council Member Bob Petrovic, second by Council Member Ken Freshley, to (1) hire Richard Craig Krause and Associates of Michigan to review the current IRS matters affecting many of the past elected officers of the Order, as well as the Order as a whole, at a cost of approximately $3000, with $1500 paid upon approval of the hiring; and (2) take the funds to cover the expenses out of the Heritage Defense Fund. Motion passed.

• 22 March 2010 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by Council Member Bob Petrovic, to (1) spend $1500 to become a sponsor of a ChumpCar commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and (2) use the SVCinC Fund to cover the $1500 sponsorship fee. Motion failed.

• 07 April 2010 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by Council Member Tad Campbell, to amend the budget to include $75 for renewal of the Memorial Day website under General Fund expenses. Motion passed.

• 12 May 2010 - Motion by Council Member Ken Freshley, second by Council Member Perley Mellor, to authorize the National Quartermaster to purchase the needed fire and theft insurance for the amount of $512 a year to cover the items in the Quartermaster's store. Motion passed.

• 25 May 2010 - Motion by National Treasurer Richard Orr, second by National Secretary Don Palmer, to support the recommendation of the Commander-in-Chief to present the Meritorious Service Award with Gold Star to Brother Tom Gaard from Grenville Dodge Camp #75, Department of Iowa. Motion passed.

• 16 June 2010 - National Secretary Don Palmer distributed the April Council of Administration meeting minutes for review. Motion by Council Member Perley Mellor, second by Council Member Tad Campbell, to approve the April Council of Administration meeting minutes as corrected. Motion passed. 

• 11 July 2010 - Motion by National Quartermaster Danny Wheeler, second by Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief Brad Schall, to present the Meritorious Service Award with Gold Star to Bradley Quinlan from McPherson Camp #1, Dept. of GA & SC, for his work in identifying Civil War unknown soldiers. Motion passed.

Note: There are 11 voting members of the Council of Administration, plus the Commander-in-Chief who may vote, but usually only votes in the event of a tie. The other voting members are the Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief, Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief, National Secretary, National Treasurer, National Quartermaster, Immediate Past Commander-in-Chief, and five elected Council Members.
