This book was sold to an undisclosed private party at an online auction (eBay item #130663975181 seller daflemdog, Los Angeles, CA; buyer bluegrey61, auction ended 22 March 2012. Private collection Descriptive Book.  Described ias follows: "574 entries.  First full entry is #20, Frank Bashford, mustered in 22 Sept. 1881.  The final entry is Chad Anderson, mustered in 26 June 1897.  Three newspaper clippings glued inside the pages: Frst article was written when the post reached 301 members and give a breakdown of where those members are from.  The second clipping is mostly missing, but looks like it also give a breakdown of where the post members are from.  The third clipping talks about the post members getting ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the GAR.  There is also a loose page with 16 names on it that is titled "Members of which no record on Roster."  The book measures approx. 13 1/4" by 8".  It's in pretty rough shape.  But, considering its age, it's pretty impressive that it's together at all.  The front cover and first couple pages and back cover and last couple pages have come loose from the binding.  Quite a bit of wear and some small tears here and there on the edges of the pages." Orginal bound volume, includes 3 newspaper clippings.  The front cover and first couple pages and back cover and last couple pages have come loose from the binding.  Quite a bit of wear and some small tears here and there on the edges of the pages. Yellowing and staining on most pages, back pages wrinkled.  First page of book missing, so first 19 entries are gone. Dean Enderlin, SUVCW May-2012 WA/AK WA1, WA2
