The roster reportedly contained the names of 190 members of the Post. Records from 1895 to 1935 were stored in the basement of the Veterans Memorial Building in Santa Cruz. Following a flood in 1955, efforts were made by the American Legion to salvage the surviving records. Those that were recovered were dried and reportedly sent to the California Veterans Museum in Sacramento for safekeeping. The whereabouts of these records is currently unknown. | Robert L.
