The Council of Administration hereby defines the eligibility for the War Medal; for any Brother who has served honorably in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States, which resulted in the awarding of one or more ribbons and/or medals as authorized by the Congress of the United States, the President of the United States or the Secretary of Defense of the United States and as approved by this Order. The following is the list of ribbons and medals which qualify a brother of the Order for the War Medal:

Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (conflicts to which another specific medal is not authorized. The Secretary of Defense determines if and when this is available)
