Zenas Thompson

The Reverend Zenas Thompson served in the Field and Staff of the 6th Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry. He enlisted from Portland, Maine (at the age of 60) and was commissioned as a Chaplain on July 15, 1861. He resigned his commission on July 15, 1862. Hannibal had two other brothers who served in the Civil War, James Archibald Thompson and Hannibal Thompson.
