Wesley Devenney

Wesley Devenney, 26 waspromoted to Captain August 8, 1864. He died October 23, 1864 of wounds received October 19 in Battle of Cedar Creek, Virginia. This previous entry (and photo) were from a Roster of Ohio Troops which appeared in the Piqua Daily Call of October 4, 1967 from a article written by Leonard U. Hill, a Miami County Ohio Historian. A later article refers to this roster as that of Company E, 110th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Photograph and information submitted by T. Fazzini, Camp #91, Ohio Department, SUVCW.
