Edmond Nash

Edmond Nash was born November 12, 1844 in White County, Tennessee. He was a 19-year-old farmer when he enlisted in the Union Army. He enlisted at Granville, Tennessee as a Private in Company D, 8th Tennessee Mounted Infantry on February 1, 1865. He was mustered out at Nashville, Tennessee on August 31, 1865. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall with brown eyes, black hair, and a fair complexion. He died on June 8, 1940 in Putnam County, Tennessee and was buried in the Bell/Hitchcock Cemetery in the White County, Tennessee.
