Dr. J. H. Roll

Dr. J. H. Roll was born in Butler County, Ohio, December 16, 1845. From October 1, 1861 to November 1, 1864, he served with Company I, 4th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. He was a member GAR Post Wetzel Compton #96 in Hamilton, Ohio. He served as second Vice President on the Hamilton, Ohio Committee (1901) for the construction of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in that city. Photograph and information provided by T.
