Celestine McMullen

Celestine McMullen was born in 1838 and was a resident of Blair County, Pennsylvania prior to the Civil War. He enlisted on January 1, 1864 as a Corporal. On the same date, he was mustered into Company A, 55th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. During his service, he was promoted to 1st Sergeant on February 15, 1865 and to 2nd Lieutenant on April 29, 1865. He was mustered out of service at Petersburg, Virginia on August 30, 1865. He died in 1917 and is buried in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
