Charles Henry Tyler

Charles Henry Tyler was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 25, 1846. He enlisted as a Private in Company F, 5th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Cavalry on February 9, 1864, at Camp Meigs in Readville, Massachusetts. He was discharged on October 31, 1865 at Galloops Island, Boston Harbor, Massachusetts. Charles Henry Tyler died in Boston on June 9, 1910 at the age of 64 years. He is buried at Mt Hope Cemetery in the Army and Navy Lot. Photograph and information submitted by Charles Henry Tyler's great great great granddaughter, Beverly Hector-Smith .
