Amos Lee

Amos Lee was born July 3, 1841 in Fairfield, Idaho. He enlisted in Central City, Colorado and was mustered in as a Corporal on September 1, 1864. He served under Captain Talbot and Colonel Chivington in Company M of the 3rd Regiment, Colorado Volunteer Calvary. He participated in the Battle of Sand Creek in Kit Carson County, Colorado. He was mustered out and discharged on December 30, 1864 at Denver, Colorado. Amos Lee died August 11, 1909 at the Soldier's Home in Boise, Iowa.
