Thomas Mahoney

Thomas Mahoney (aka Thomas Hickey) was born in 1840. He initially served as a Private (Musician) with the 82nd New York Regiment Volunteer Infantry (Companies F and C) from December 3, 1862 through May 22, 1864. He was transferred to the 59th New York Regiment Volunteer Infantry, Company F and remained there until he was mustered out of service on June 30, 1865. He died at Dayton National Home for Disabled Soldiers on June 17, 1880 and was buried in Plot B 9-5. Photograph and information submitted by Thomas Mahoney's Great Grandson, Bill Hickey.
