Henry Chappell, Yorkville, Illinois GAR Post #522

Henry Chappell (Spelled Chapple in the Roster of Officers and Enlisted Men Military Records for the State of Illinois) was from Kendall, Illinois. On February 21, 1865, he enlisted as a Private in Company A, 156th Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry. He was mustered out on September 20, 1865 in Memphis Tennessee.
