Elmore F. Lewis

Elmore F. Lewis enlisted as a Private at Constantine, Michigan on August 15, 1864, at the age of 16, in Company H. 19th Michigan Volunteer Infantry. He was honorably discharged on June 10, 1865 after having participated in the Grand Review in Washingto DC. He died in 1906 and is buried in Vandalia, Michigan. He was the great great grandfather of Keith Graham Harrison and great great great grandfather of Nathan Lewis Harrison, both of the Curtenius Guard Camp #17, Michigan Department, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Michigan Commandery of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States.
