Martin Rowe, David Rowe, Jacob Rowe, and Andrew Rowe

Martin Rowe, a resident of Madison, County, Iowa, enlisted on February 27, 1864 and was mustered on March 7, 1864 as a Private into Company L, 7th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry. He was 25 years old. During the war, he received four promotions: 8th Corporal May 1, 1865, 6th Corporal September 1, 1865, 5th Corporal December 20, 1865, and 4th Corporal February1, 1866. He was mustered out of service on June 22, 1864 at Sioux City, Iowa.

David G. Rowe, a resident of Drakesville, Iowa, enlisted on November 6, 1862 and was mustered on December 27, 1862 as a 4th Sergeant into Company B, 7th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry. He was 22 years old. During the war, he received two promotions: 3rd Sergeant February 23, 1865 and 2nd Sergeant March 31, 1865. He was mustered out of service on December 12, 1865 at Omaha, Nebraska.

Jacob Rowe, a resident of the 1st Congressional District of Iowa, enlisted and was mustered on October 5, 1864 as a Private into Company A, 4th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He was 28 years old. He was mustered out of service on July 24, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky.

Andrew Rowe, a resident of Des Moines, Iowa, enlisted and was mustered on September 28, 1864 as a Private into Company B, 15th Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He was 18 years old. He was mustered out of service on June 2, 1865 at Washington DC.

All four brothers received facial wounds during the war.
