Daniel A.Clingaman

Daniel A.Clingaman enlisted as a Private in to Company D, 195th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was 18 years old at the time. He was mustered on March 16, 1865. He was mustered out of service on December 18, 1865 at Washington, DC. He died in Wauseon, Ohio on February 18, 1951 at the age of 104 years, 4 months, 23 days. He was the last Civil War veteran to died in Ohio. Sitting on his lap is great granddaughter, Judy Fauver Miller who was 2 years old at the time.
