Charles W. Morse

Charles W. Morse enlisted and was mustered in on September 5, 1861 as a Private into Company G, 38th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He was 20 years old. He was discharged for disability on May 8, 1862. On September 15, 1863, he enlisted but was not mustered in until December 4, 1863 as a Private into Company G, 12th Volunteer Cavalry. He was wounded at Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and was sent to a hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. After the war, he moved to West Branch, Michigan. He was buried at West Branch, Michigan.
