Charles T. Mieg

Charles T. Mieg was born July 29,1844. He enlisted and was mustered on August 14, 1862 as a Private in Company B, 24th Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. He later transferred out of that regiment and into Company B, 10th Regiment Veterans Reserve Corps. Following the Civil War, he joined the Colonel Fred Taylor Post 19 of the Grand Army of the Republic. He died May 23, 1911 in Atco, New Jersey and was buried in the Atco cemetery.
