Alexander Parks

Alexander Parks enlisted as a Private at Dallas Township, Clinton County, Michigan on January 25, 1864 at the age of 41, in Company C, 3rd Michigan Volunteer Infantry. He joined his Regiment at Brandy Station, Virginia April 1, 1864. He was transferred to Company I, 5th Michigan Volunteer Infantry June 10, 1864. He was honorably discharged on August 29, 1864 due to disability. He died 1898 and is buried in Ithaca, Michigan. He was the great great great grandfather of Nathan Lewis Harrison, Curtenius Guard Camp #17, Michigan Department, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and the Michigan Commandery of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States.
