Alexander Clark

Alexander Clark enlisted and was mustered into Company H, 78th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on January 4, 1864 as a Private. He was 18 years old. He was transferred into Company E, Veteran Reserve Corps, 6th Infantry on March 13, 1865. He was wounded in action near Atlanta, Georgia on July 22, 1864. His date of discharge is unknown. Following the war, he belonged to the Hazlett Grand Army of the Republic Post 81 in Muskingum County, Zanesville, Ohio. Photograph and a portion of the information provided by J.D. Sills, Jr..
