1. Our Secretary/Treasurer, Michael Bennett, has a difficult enough job when all paperwork is done right. Unfortunately, this is not the usual case. Paperwork needs to be filled out completely and sent in on time. Deceased members should be reported to the Secretary, Chaplain, and Commander as soon as possible, not necessarily waiting for your next submission of a Camp Status Report. Changes of address should also be reported as quickly as possible. The Department sends mail to the membership, and many addresses on file are incorrect. Brother Bennett would much rather have e-mailed (or telephoned) questions on paperwork, than to have it completed incorrectly.
Today I order all Camp Secretaries to be fastidious in getting their paperwork done properly and on time.
