1.   It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Real Son Horace N. Rumsey.
Brother Rumsey answered his final roll call on 9 March 2004.

2.  Brother Rumsey's father was 1st Lieutenant Horace N. Rumsey of Company A, 148th New York Volunteer Infantry.
Brother Rumsey was a Member of the David G. Caywood Camp No. 146 of Ovid.

3.  Pursuant to General Orders No. 23, Series 2001-2002, I hereby charge all Camp Commanders to drape Camp Charters
in his honor for a period of 30 days. All New York Brothers are directed to wear a mourning ribbon on or behind the
badge of the Order, as prescribed in Regulations Chapter V, Article III, Section 9.
