1.   It is with personal regret that I must accept the resignation of
John W. Gleason, PCC, as New York Department G.A.R. Highway Officer.
Brother Gleason's reasons for resigning are personal, and the Department thanks him
for his many years of faithful service.

2.  Brother William A. Christen, Jr. is hereby appointed New York Department G.A.R. Highway Officer.
