1.     It is with great sadness and profound regret that I announce the passing of Past Department Commander Milton Armstrong,
who answered his last roll call on 28 October 2003.

2.      Brother Armstrong was New York Department Commander in 1951-1952, serving as a Member of Camp 25 in Newburgh, NY,
and Jacob Ten Eyck Camp No. 154 in Albany. He was most recently a Member of Col. Augustus van Horne Ellis Camp No. 124.
Brother Armstrong was the grandson of Pvt. George Armstrong of the 95th New York Volunteer Infantry, Co. K,
and was himself a decorated veteran of World War II.

3.      I hereby charge all Camp Commanders to drape Camp Charters in his honor for a period of 30 days.
