General George B. Loud, of New York City, Past Department Commander, passed into the Great Beyond, July 11, 1922. He was a brave soldier, a prominent upright and public spirited citizen and, as a member of the Grand Army, was held in high honor and repute. As Judge Advocate of the Army Nurses Association, he was a tower of strength to "Our Angels of Mercy", as a friend of the Woman's Relief Corps he stood ever ready to be of service. Source: NY Dept.
