Past Dept. Commander Edward J. Atkinson died
the third day of February 1920, at his home in
Yonkers, New York.

Comrade Atkinson was born in New York City

seventy-eight years ago and retained his
residence in that municipality until his recent
retirement from business activities.

In March, 1861, he enlisted in Company A, 83rd
