The Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States (MOLLUS) War Papers book series, containing seven volumes in all, are comprised of first-hand accounts written by men who were active participants in the Civil War. The MOLLUS volumes, originally published 1887-1915, have been reprinted by Broadfoot in 1992 and are enhanced with illustartions, portraits, maps (some folding), and plans. The series contains accounts of some battles that are not documented anywhere else. We hope this index will help educate others on the history of the Civil War. Until now, only very serious researchers of the Civil War have been aware of these papers and this is the first time that the titles of all of the papers can be looked at as a whole. We will be adding the table of contents for each volume as well as locations of public libraries that have copies of volumes as the information becomes available.
