The following photograph is of President Franklin D. Roosevelt taken at the Lincoln Memorial on February 12, 1942 as part of the annual MOLLUS commemorative ceremony. This is a rare photograph showing President Roosevelt standing. At his left is General Ed. M. Watson, President Roosevelt's Miitary Aide. To the President's right is Captain James S. McCord, Naval Aide, and Mr. W. Elkins Reed, Recorder-in-Chief of the MOLLUS. The annual ceremony, which takes place on the birthday of Abraham Lincoln, February 12th, commemorates the life and contributions of our 16th President to our county.
