402   CPT Louis F. Bierwirth Cape Girardeau Cape Girardeau Unknown Unknown   Records for this Post were still in existence in 1938, when plans were being made to preserve them in a local American Legion Post.  "Remants of the records of this post are being preserved, but the roster is almost illegible.  From the books it appears that this post was short-lived.  Many were transferred to the Commerce post, and in a few years the post ceased to function."  The Post records were in the care of E. N. Blumer of Cape Girardeau in July 1938 when the above description of their condition was made. Poor condition in 1938. Dean Enderlin, SUVCW Mar-2015 MO JH1
