Office of National Council of Administration

Brother Ed Norris, PCC

Department of Massachusetts

Willie Grout Camp #25

Brothers,

At our 2013 National Encampment in Brookfield, Wisconsin, I will be seeking a position on the National Council of Administration.

I have been attending Council of Administration meetings for the past two years in preparation for my duties as National Chief of Staff. This has allowed me to understand the business which is conducted by our National Officers and Committees in the period between National Encampments. I would not seek this position if I didn’t truly believe I can be effective in representing my Brothers.

At the 2012 National Encampment, a 2020 Strategic Plan was presented. It showed us a path for growing and strengthening us at the Camp, Department, and National levels. In 2020 we will be meeting to conduct the business of the 139th National Encampment; and it will be wonderful if the Commander-in-Chief is able to announce that we have achieved the goals of that plan. It is a plan that I fully support, and is what will be followed to guide my decisions and actions.

I have served in numerous positions at the Camp, Department, and National level since joining our great organization. Currently, I am Commander of Willie Grout Camp 25 in Worcester, Senior Vice Commander of the Department of Massachusetts, and National Chief of Staff; I’m also the chairman of the Battle Flag Preservation Committee and a member of the Restore Memorial Day Special Committee.

I love this organization and I want to foster its growth and success. I will serve my Brothers to the best of my abilities and I hope that I have your support.

In Fraternity, Charity, and Loyalty,

Brother Ed Norris
