Meet our National President for 2008-2009

Barbara believes she is a first generation member of the Ladies of the G.A.R though her two GG Grandmothers may have been members since her GG Grandfathers were active in the GAR. Barbara and her daughter, Jennifer, joined the LGAR in 2001 and have been active at all levels of the organization.

Barbara’s eligibility is from her Great Great Grandfather George Washington Dittemore, a private in Co. A, 13th Kansas Volunteers Infantry. He enlisted August 25, 1862 and was discharged on June 26, 1865. She also has eligibility from her other great, great grandfather, Frederick Samuel Moser, a private, in Co. C, 13th Kansas Volunteers Infantry. He enlisted in September 3, 1862 and was discharged on June 26, 1865

Barbara is proud to represent her ancestors in this organization. She will continue to perpetuate the memory and glory of the "Boys in Blue" and invites you to join in this worthy cause.
